Considered one of the most important designers on the Japanese and international scene, Naoto Fukasawa is among the pioneers of minimalist design. Born in 1956, Fukasawa studied art and design in Tokyo before working as a designer for Seiko Epson in Japan and then for ID-two in San Francisco. In 2003, he founded his own studio in Tokyo, "Naoto Fukasawa Design," and has collaborated with some of the most prestigious European design brands.
