What started as an admittedly original birthday present for her partner eventually became a collection of mood lighting. Terra Light by Lauren Van Driessche was born out of love (and a concern for functionality) and has grown into a playful collection of table and floor lamps that, despite their discreetness, add a little extra touch of atmosphere to any interior decor. An adjustable sphere, resting on an empty cylinder, can diffuse light in any direction. The robust finish and the warm terracotta material give the lamp its artisanal look, while the white interior of the sphere creates a beautiful contrast and uniquely optimizes the reflection of light. Terra Light is the first collection marketed by Lauren Van Driessche in collaboration with Serax. The designer is already working on an extension of her terracotta collection.
